I am delighted to be running to be the next MP for Wolverhampton North East for the Conservatives.
I am a passionate Brexitier and supported the campaign to Leave Europe.
I will provide a strong voice for our hi-tech businesses in Wolverhampton North East in Parliament, having spent my career working in advanced manufacturing sectors like, aerospace, automotive and electronic engineering.
The Industrial Strategy, I54 and Midlands Engine Investment fund all provide support to real job opportunities and scope for more apprenticeships in the area.
I was lucky to have the benefit of a grammar school education. We need a diverse education system that supports the wide needs of young people and helps them achieve their full potential.
My family originates from the West of Ireland (Co. Mayo and Co. Galway) and I am a regular visitor there to see friends and family. I'm also a former camogie player, a team game not for the faint hearted.
I have a great roadbike and like nothing better than a long cycle, but preferably on a sunny day.
